Screener Air Cargo

<p>If air freight is offered unsafely or has become unsafe, the air freight must be investigated. The Air Cargo Screener certificate is valid for six months. The aim of this six-monthly refresher training is to replace the valid certificate with a new certificate.</p>
<h6>Target audience:</h6>
<p>The Air Cargo Screener training course is intended for those who are allowed to carry out security screening on air freight. You have unescorted access to the location where the air freight is stored or handled.</p>
<h6>Duration of the training:</h6>
<p>16 hours</p>
<h6>Admission requirements:</h6>
<p>For this training, the student must have a valid Air Cargo Screener certificate. No other (preliminary) training is necessary.</p>
<p>Students must be in possession of a valid Dutch VGB and a valid ID. Without a valid VGB and ID, it is not permitted to follow this course.</p>
<h6>The price</h6>
<p>for this training is € 289,80 per person (excl. VAT).</p>

<p>The training ends with a test. With a pass rate of 80% or higher, you will receive a certificate.</p>

<h6>Competences:</h6>
<p>Acquired competencies according to NOBB:</p>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of previous unlawful acts and terrorist attacks against civil aviation and of current threats;</li>
<li>Knowledge of the relevant legal requirements and knowledge of elements that contribute to establishing a robust and resilient security culture in the workplace and aviation, including, among others, insider threats and radicalisation.</li>
<li>Knowledge of the objectives and organization of aviation security, including the duties and responsibilities of persons carrying out security controls in the supply chain;</li>
<li>The ability to identify prohibited items;</li>
<li>The ability to respond appropriately to the discovery of prohibited items;</li>
<li>Insight into the capabilities and limitations of security equipment or security screening methods used;</li>
<li>Knowledge of the ways in which prohibited items can be hidden;</li>
<li>Knowledge of emergency procedures;</li>
<li>Knowledge of protection requirements for freight and mail;</li>
</ul>
<h6>Legal basis:</h6>
<p>This training course developed by PMT is based on the training requirements in the National Training Program for Civil Aviation Security.</p>
